Linux Mint 18 Mate を VMware Fusion 上にインスコ
Linux MInt 18 Mate install on VMware Fusion

日本語としてインストール。最初から fcitx + mozc で日本語入力環境が整えられているのがよい。
Install setting is Japanese. Installed at that time, I can input Jpapanese by fcitx + mozc, that's good.

fcitx と mozc の GUI での設定ツールが入っていないので適当に入れる
No Gui tool for fcitx mozc settings, so install…

左シフトワンショットでIMEを切り替えられるように設定
Set wwitch IME Mode oneshot LShift key

VMware tools のインストールだが、今回からは open-vm-tools を入れるのが推奨のようだ
Now, Not install WMware tools, instead of install open-vm-tools that recommend.

$ apt install open-vm-tools
$ apt install open-vm-tools-desktop

既存のディレクトリ名を英語にする
Make English name dir.

LANG=C xdg-user-dirs-gtk-update

ホストマシンとのディレクトリ共有をオンにする。 以前は自動マウントだったが open-vm-tools は明示的にマウントしないといけないようだ
Make usable share folder. Previous using vmware-tools auto mount folder, but now must mount by manual.

この呪文でOK
Use the spell OK.

$ sudo mkdir /mnt/hgfs
$ sudo mount -t fuse.vmhgfs-fuse .host:/ /mnt/hgfs -o allow_other

動作が確認できたら /etc/fstab に
if you confirem folder, write at /etc/sftab

.host:/ /mnt/hgfs fuse.vmhgfs-fuse allow_other 0 0
